COMPREHENSIVE MEDICAL CARE AND RESEARCH IN ONCOLOGICAL THERAPY

ENDOMETRIAL CANCER
A type of cancer that begins in the lining of the womb (uterus).
Most cases occur in women over 55 years of age.
A key clue is abnormal vaginal bleeding, such as bleeding after menopause or breakthrough bleeding.
Other symptoms can include pelvic pain and pain during sex, but some women have no symptoms at all.
Treatment includes surgery to remove the uterus, radiation therapy, hormone therapy, and chemotherapy.
